New Delhi: The Japanese motorcycles giant, Honda, launched the highly anticipated ‘CBR 150R’ in the country on Friday. The bike was earlier unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo for the first time in the country.
Honda CBR 150R, priced at Rs 1.16 lakh(ex-showroom), will compete with the likes of Yamaha R15 and the newly launched Bajaj KTM Duke 200.
The new bike will be available in two variants with a standard and deluxe model in the country. The Deluxe variant offers a triple tone paint job while the Standard variant offers a two-tone paint job.
Honda CBR 150R is powered by a 150cc engine generating 17.6 bhp and a peak torque of 12.6 Nm. It has been powered by a 6-speed gearbox to provide adequate power transmission. It will be liquid-cooled and fuel-injected with Honda’s patented PGM-FI technology.
