Huawei has launched a partner program to drive growth for its enterprise business. It also introduced training and certification program and has started the partner recruitment drive.
The new program would offer partners a comprehensive product portfolio, R&D and long-term expansion opportunities. The vendor would follow a two-tier model comprising the distributors and value-added partners (VAPs) in the first tier, and Platinum, Gold, Silver and recognized partners in the second tier.
“The channel is a key component to Huawei’s enterprise business growth strategy and we are approaching partners with a win-win model, creating business opportunities while maximizing value for end customers,” said Robert Yang, President, Channel Sales Department, Huawei Enterprise.
The company also launched the ICT training and certification program named Huawei Enterprise Training and Certification Program that draws on Huawei’s more than 20 years of experience in more than 160 countries around the world. The company aims to certify 300,000 professionals by 2015. Huawei will also recruit partners to become Huawei Authorized Learning Partners (HALP).
